Because it offers the perfect balance of tensile strength and corrosion resistance. For high-end coastal projects, we even provide SS316 options, which contain molybdenum to prevent pitting caused by chloride in sea air. By sourcing high-grade alloys directly, our factory ensures that every friction stay and hinge can withstand the elements for decades.
Friction stays are the silent heroes of modern windows. Unlike traditional hinges that just allow movement, a friction stay uses a "sliding track" and "adjustable friction" to hold a window open at any desired position. This is vital in windy environments where a standard window might slam shut or fly open. Our factory designs these with up to seven supporting bars (as seen in our 90-degree adjustable models) to distribute the window's weight evenly across the frame, reducing stress on the window profile itself.
